Oahu College Band
The Oahu College Band (OCB) is the official alumni and friends marching and pep band of Punahou School. Anyone is welcome to join OCB, whether an alumnus or not. The main ingredients are enthusiasm and spirit, and love of music. OCB’s mission is to support the students, the coaches and school, and the broader community in keeping with the school’s public purpose philosophy, and to spread student and alumni spirit and pride through music. OCB plays traditional fight songs as well as rock ‘n roll, contemporary, big band, military and march songs. OCB performs at school athletic events, including basketball, football, volleyball, water polo, soccer and softball games. OCB also plays at select alumni events, such as the Punahou luau and the Flaming P. OCB also play for community organizations such as Kahala Nui, Arcadia and Shriner’s Hospital for Children. OCB works closely with the Punahou Marching Band leadership, and students join in as time permit.
