Aloha Marching Band community, we appreciate your patience. After a long silence we are ready for some announcements before we have our Marching Band meetings next week. The below message is from Michael Lippert, Music Department Head.
--On behalf of the Music Department and Punahou School, I am delighted to announce that we will have a new colleague in band in the fall, Mr. Edward Roush. Mr. Roush will be coming to us most recently from Texas, after many years of service with school bands in Colorado. He has taught extensively in Drum Corp International and served as a clinician for Music For All. Mr. Roush brings an emphasis on fundamentals, excellence, and a wide diversity of experience working with both marching and concert bands. Mr. Roush will be the head marching band director next year, and Mr. Mark Falzarano will continue as the assistant marching band director. We are still determining staffing for our concert bands. When this information is finalized, I will announce that information.
Thank you for your input, as well as your patience, through this time of transition.
Below is a flyer with points about the meetings on Thursday or Friday. We look forward to seeing parents and students of the 2016 Marching Band next week.
