A huge thanks goes out to our booster committees and the volunteer for helping with the booster meeting and hosting Mike and Ann Matthiessen.
We are taking pre-orders for band booster shirts until TUESDAY, JUNE 2. Please drop off your form with a check payable to "Punahou School" at the Academy Band Office. These shirts are not required for band students. The shirts are primarily worn by family members to support the marching band at football games, parades, and other marching band activities. The form is at the bottom of the blog. Come and join the Band Boosters!
If you didn’t get a chance to check in at the meetings last week, please take a look at the link below and note a committee that might be a good fit for you. The boosters help the students succeed in many different ways!
Registration for Band Camp has begun; please check below or on the band camp tab for info to register. Registration closes May 29.
When you sign up for the value plan, keep in mind that "option A" needs to be purchased before an "option B" can be purchased. Option B is for second family members that need the convenience of the food each week.
Uniform information will be coming shortly to organize aloha shirts, jackets and the rest of the uniform parts. There will also be a time in the summer to have an appointment to finish fitting.
Save the date for July 31. We will have our Band Camp trip meeting and potluck.
Drum major candidates
We will work together after the marching band club meeting on Thursday. We need to audition May 21 at 3:40. Please continue to work from the exercises on the marching band moodle page. The audition will include those exercises and conducting the Star Spangled Banner.
