Parents are encouraged to attend a design-thinking workshop hosted by Emily McCarren, Academy principal, on Monday, June 13. The meeting is 1-4pm in Wo 202.
We are seeking YOUR input in how best to engage and honor parent volunteerism to provide essential help with Marching Band. Your participation is appreciated valuable as we continue to explore a shared vision for Marching Band.

We had a great start with student leadership meetings and basics rehearsals with Mr. Roush this last Monday and Tuesday. Attendance was strong and formed a great nucleus for the rest of the summer. A special thanks goes out to all who made the special effort to attend.
The calendar has been updated with summer sectional possibilities. Student leaders will be in contact with their sections to coordinate. Uniform fitting dates and music rehearsals are also posted. These summer events are designed to value your time. Please plan ahead to attend as many as possible. They are listed below for your convenience. Band camp on campus July 25-29 will shift 30 minutes earlier to account for field availability. 7:30 – 3:30. Unsupervised lunch will be from 11-noon.
Most of our music is available through the student leadership. Please contact them to ensure you are ready for our band camps later in the summer. The more effort you put in, the more value you will get from the experience!
