The students performed well at the last football game. As we look forward to our next events we have some certainty and much uncertainty with the football schedule.
Our next game is on Friday, 10/24 . We have been cleared to perform at half time. Please notify me by Friday (10/17) if there is an unavoidable conflict. We will wear our Aloha uniform. Our schedule for that day is below.

The Kamehameha Tournament will be our next event on Saturday, 11/1. Hopefully our full formal uniform will have arrived. We hope to distribute the uniform jackets to the students on Monday 10/27 and/or Wednesday 10/29. The boosters will have the uniforms dry cleaned at the end of the season. If additional dry cleaning is needed it will need to be done by the student. Lost or damaged parts of the uniform will need to be paid for by the student.

The Rainbow Invitational is on Monday,11/10. I do not have specific information, however, last year we had a call time of 3:30 and returned to Punahou after 10:30.
Possible playoff games include
10/30 (If we loose on 10/24) – ILH finals
11/7 or 11/8 if we loose on 10/24 – First round - State Championship game
11/15 State Championship Semi Final game
11/21 State Championship Game
11/23 is the Band banquet from 5:30-9:00
The banquet will be at M-Club on Sunday, 11/23 from 5:30-9:30pm so reserve that date! Cost will be $25/band student and $40/guest (non band-member). Parents will have a band booster gathering at the same time, more infomation forthcoming.
Since we have finished our show we will be inviting some special guests to work with the band. We welcome the opportunity to work with specialists in the field and carefully consider their comments. In many ways these clinic situations are more valuable then getting comments at festivals. We will be joined by Dr. Ruszkowski (formerly with HPU) will join us , formerly of HPU on Friday,10/17 and. Mr. Blon Marching Band Director at for UH will join us on Monday,10/27.
